Assignment Length:

• 10 weeks

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• ASCP or AMT certification required
• Minimum experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician (MT/MLT)
• Generalist proficiency, with strong chemistry—Roche Cobas Pro/Pure—and blood bank experience
• Skilled in phlebotomy (required)
• Robust LIS experience (Cerner preferred)
• Comfortable working as the primary technologist alongside a lab assistant overnight
• Demonstrated ability to thrive independently in high-responsibility environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of laboratory testing procedures as a generalist
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality control measures
• Oversee and mentor the lab assistant during overnight shifts
• Ensure proper handling of specimens for chemistry and blood bank applications
• Engage in phlebotomy and specimen processing as required
