Details and Schedule:

• 13-week travel assignment
• Evening shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
• Every other weekend required

Key Qualifications:

• ASCP or AMT certification
• Minimum Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor’s in Medical Technology
• Experience working as a generalist with a strong background in blood bank procedures
• Proficiency with Epic and Cerner LIS systems
• Prior travel experience valued, but not mandatory
• Applicants must be located 50+ miles from North Charleston, SC

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of routine and specialty laboratory procedures as a generalist
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks daily
• Manage blood bank operations with high attention to accuracy and safety
• Accurately document findings and interact with clinical teams
• Utilize LIS (Epic, Cerner) effectively for specimen management and reporting
