Schedule options provide flexibility, allowing you to choose between four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week for a duration of 10 to 13 weeks.

Key Qualifications:

  • Certification as ASCP or MT required
  • Previous experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Proven competency in blood bank procedures and protocols
  • Skilled in performing phlebotomy across diverse patient populations
  • Ability to analyze lab results with efficiency and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to laboratory safety standards
  • Effective communicator and proactive team player

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses on blood and other specimens, with a focus on blood bank operations
  • Collect specimens through phlebotomy, ensuring proper technique and patient care
  • Evaluate, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately and promptly
  • Adhere to all laboratory quality control and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain thorough documentation and assist in laboratory record management
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshooting any issues as needed
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare staff to facilitate timely and effective patient diagnostics
