Expand your expertise in laboratory medicine by supporting a dedicated healthcare team as a Laboratory Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled generalist to perform essential testing and analysis to ensure the highest quality patient care.

• 3rd shift

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from an accredited agency
• Experience as a generalist, comfortable performing tests across hematology, chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and standard lab equipment
• Strong attention to accuracy, specimen integrity, and safety protocols
• Ability to multitask efficiently and communicate results effectively
• COVID-19 vaccination required in accordance with facility policies

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing procedures, ensuring accuracy in results and adherence to regulatory standards
• Analyze patient samples in a timely manner, performing quality control and troubleshooting equipment or procedural issues as needed
• Document and report test results clearly to physicians and healthcare professionals
• Maintain and calibrate instruments, following all infection control and biosafety procedures
• Collaborate with other lab staff to manage workload, prioritize urgent samples, and ensure efficient workflow
• Participate in ongoing education, proficiency testing, and department meetings to stay up to date with best practices
