Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • Current ASCP or AMT certification (or eligibility)
  • Proven experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Proficiency with laboratory equipment, analyzers, and standard protocols for hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
  • Working knowledge of laboratory regulations and quality control standards
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret laboratory test results accurately and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, professional approach

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue specimens following established laboratory procedures
  • Analyze and verify results, reporting critical findings promptly to clinical staff
  • Maintain precise records and documentation for quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as required
  • Adhere to safety procedures and infection control protocols at all times
  • Participate in continuing education and staff competency assessments
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing personnel to support optimal patient outcomes
