Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) through an accredited agency (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and analyzers in a regulated clinical environment
  • Understanding of laboratory safety, quality assurance, and infection control protocols
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Effective communication abilities for working with colleagues and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
  • Accurately process and analyze specimens according to established protocols
  • Maintain proper documentation of test results and quality control measures
  • Troubleshoot instrument and testing challenges to ensure accurate reporting
  • Support laboratory operations through inventory management and maintenance of equipment
