Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week contract assignment

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science required
  • Active certification by a recognized national certifying agency, such as ASCP or NCA
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience in a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician role, or similar laboratory setting
  • Experience operating Beckman Coulter equipment, with preference for candidates familiar with the AU system
  • Preferred experience with Sunquest Laboratory Information System (LIS) and laboratory automation
  • Strong commitment to following established laboratory protocols and quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on blood and body fluid specimens, utilizing manual techniques and advanced laboratory instrumentation
  • Adhere to defined laboratory protocols and safety regulations at all times
  • Operate laboratory information systems for data entry, result processing, and reporting
  • Support phlebotomy functions as required to meet patient testing needs
  • Work under direct supervision of laboratory technologists, leaders, and supervisors, and effectively collaborate within a clinical team
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure traceability and compliance
