Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) | Rochester, Michigan

Schedule/Hours:

• Midnight Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant science discipline
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, Medical Lab Technician, or similar laboratory role
• Active certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Background working with Beckman Coulter lab equipment, with experience on the AU system highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of laboratory tests and quality control procedures in compliance with standard protocols
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, emphasizing Beckman Coulter analyzers
• Accurately analyze and interpret test results to support clinical decisions
• Document and report findings efficiently in electronic health records and laboratory information systems
• Collaborate closely with medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care and delivery of timely laboratory services
• Adhere to best practices for laboratory safety and infection control
