Schedule:

• 5x8 hour evening shifts

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP)
• Proficiency across core laboratory areas as a generalist
• Demonstrated experience operating and maintaining a diverse range of laboratory instrumentation
• Strong understanding of analytical procedures, quality control, and safety standards
• Solid ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve specimen or testing concerns
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to maintaining high accuracy and integrity in test results

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory analyses according to established procedures
• Oversee specimen collection, processing, and reporting of accurate test results to clinical staff
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Follow regulatory standards and institutional protocols in all areas of laboratory practice
• Implement and monitor quality control activities to ensure reliability and precision
• Participate in continuing education and departmental improvement initiatives
• Document all activities thoroughly and comply with all privacy/confidentiality policies
