Schedule:

  • 5x8s evening shifts

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ASCP certification
  • Credentialed as a Medical Technologist (MT, MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Demonstrated experience in a generalist laboratory setting, with competency in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank procedures
  • Ability to perform both manual and automated testing with precision and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and quality control measures

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as a generalist, ensuring quick and accurate results for patient care
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Adhere to all quality assurance and quality control protocols, maintaining high standards in result reporting
  • Accurately record test results in laboratory information systems
  • Participate in continuing education and stay current with laboratory practices and technology
  • Collaborate effectively with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care
  • Support the training and orientation of new personnel if required
