A full-time Medical Technologist position is open for a dedicated professional specializing in laboratory operations as a generalist. Schedule:

  • 2nd shift hours
  • 13-week contract assignment

Qualifications:

  • Valid ASCP or AMT certification required
  • BLS certification
  • Registered US Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Experience working on GE systems preferred
  • Generalist laboratory experience highly desirable

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform and analyze laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples
  • Ensure accuracy and dependability of test results in support of patient care
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation (with an emphasis on GE equipment)
  • Adhere to laboratory protocols and quality control standards to maintain compliance with regulatory bodies
  • Collaborate closely with clinical teams to provide timely and precise laboratory data
