Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active NY State license as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician
• Competent as a generalist across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunology
• Proficiency with routine laboratory instrumentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proven experience in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely analysis of patient specimens across multiple laboratory sections
• Adhere to established protocols, quality control procedures, and safety guidelines
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and consult with supervisors or pathologists when necessary
• Document and report results promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and participate in proficiency testing
