Medical Technologist - Springfield, GA

A skilled Medical Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract. This position offers a dynamic schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, focused on weekend days. As a Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting laboratory services and ensuring high standards in testing and analysis.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• Proven experience as a Generalist in a clinical laboratory setting
• Familiarity with laboratory protocols, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements
• Strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with healthcare teams

Schedule:

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend day coverage

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests across multiple disciplines as a Generalist
• Monitor quality controls, calibrate equipment, and participate in troubleshooting when necessary
• Interpret and report results accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate patient care
