Seeking a skilled laboratory professional with expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician to perform as a generalist with a focus in blood banking. This contract opportunity involves providing high-quality laboratory testing and analysis in a fast-paced healthcare setting with a commitment to patient care.

Schedule:

• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Demonstrated experience as a laboratory generalist across key disciplines
• Proficient in blood banking protocols and procedures
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy during night shifts
• Familiarity with laboratory guidelines and safety procedures

Responsibilities:

• Perform and verify laboratory tests with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and operate a wide range of laboratory analyzers and equipment
• Conduct blood banking procedures, including compatibility testing and inventory management
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams regarding test results and urgent findings
• Troubleshoot technical issues and document resolutions as needed
