Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour night shifts per week
  • 26-week contract

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunology as a generalist.
  • Analyze, interpret, and validate laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
  • Adhere to strict protocols for quality assurance, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide vital diagnostic information.
  • Maintain precise and organized records in compliance with laboratory regulations.
  • Participate in laboratory inspections, proficiency testing, and continuing education as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field.
  • Current certification or eligibility as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT).
  • Recent experience working as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently on night shift and maintain high standards under minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
