Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required
• Demonstrated experience as a Medical Technologist, with particular strength as a generalist
• Robust expertise in blood bank procedures, protocols, and troubleshooting
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced laboratory setting
• Strong communication and collaborative skills to interact with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• ASCP certification not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis across multiple laboratory disciplines, including blood banking, hematology, chemistry, and microbiology
• Ensure accurate processing and reporting of laboratory specimens while adhering to established quality control procedures
• Troubleshoot testing and instrument issues, particularly within blood bank operations
• Maintain precise documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on critical testing and reporting
• Stay current with advances in laboratory techniques and opportunities for ongoing education
