Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Troy, New York

Schedule:

• 13-week contract assignment
• 3x12 hour day shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Qualifications:

• New York State clinical laboratory license (required)
• ASCP or AMT certification
• Experience as a laboratory generalist, comfortable performing varied benchwork
• Demonstrated proficiency in laboratory procedures, quality assurance, and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate and timely testing on patient specimens using a variety of clinical laboratory equipment
• Interpret, document, and communicate test results to clinical partners
• Ensure compliance with laboratory policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain and calibrate instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, and document maintenance activities
• Participate in ongoing quality control and quality improvement initiatives
• Support laboratory operations by managing inventory and supplies as needed
