Medical Technologist in Utica, NY

• Two night shift positions

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certified as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
• Previous experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of laboratory procedures
• Covid-19 vaccination required
• Must reside more than 50 miles away
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to quality and safety standards
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic testing across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, and immunology
• Analyze, interpret, and validate lab results for use by healthcare providers
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with protocols
• Adhere to established policies for quality assurance and infection control
• Communicate effectively with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare staff
• Follow all regulatory compliance and documentation requirements
