Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an Associate Degree program in Medical Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Science
  • Certification from a nationally recognized agency such as ASCP or NCA
  • 2–3 years of recent experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician
  • Proficient with Beckman Coulter equipment; AU system experience is highly desirable
  • Preferred background with Sunquest LIS and automation processes
  • Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures as required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a variety of laboratory analyses on blood and other bodily fluids or specimens following standardized protocols
  • Operate laboratory instruments and utilize information systems to record and analyze results accurately
  • Adhere to quality control practices to ensure the integrity and reliability of laboratory outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with technologists, laboratory leaders, and supervisors to resolve technical issues and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with established safety standards
  • Participate in regular equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration activities
