Skilled laboratory professionals will find this opportunity both rewarding and professionally stimulating. This 13-week assignment calls for an experienced individual with a background as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician, ideally with experience utilizing Beckman Coulter equipment, particularly AU systems.

Schedule:

  • Midnight shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline required.
  • National certification from a recognized certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ recent, relevant experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician.
  • Hands-on experience with Beckman Coulter platforms, especially AU system proficiency, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with standard clinical laboratory procedures and demonstrated accuracy in specimen handling.
  • Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze laboratory samples according to established procedures, ensuring precise and timely results.
  • Operate and maintain Beckman Coulter laboratory equipment, troubleshooting as needed.
  • Perform quality assurance and control procedures to uphold compliance and laboratory standards.
  • Accurately document and report results, collaborating closely with clinical teams for patient care.
  • Adhere to all laboratory policies, OSHA regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and competency assessments as required.
