Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Warren, Michigan

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (10:30pm – 9:00am)
• Every other weekend is required
• 40 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Valid certification and credentials as a Medical Technologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in hematology
• Proficient in laboratory protocols, instrument operation, quality control, and test completion
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work night shifts and rotational weekends as scheduled

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of clinical laboratory tests with precision and accuracy, focusing on hematology procedures
• Analyze blood, body fluids, and other specimens; prepare detailed reports for review by clinical staff
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards
• Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and fellow technologists to provide seamless patient care
• Manage specimen processing and data entry in an efficient, organized manner during overnight hours
