Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) - Whitesboro, New York

Seeking skilled professionals with a background in laboratory science for contract opportunities as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. In this generalist role, you will perform a range of laboratory procedures to support accurate patient diagnostics and care. There are three open positions—one available on the day shift and two on the night shift.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
• Experience as a generalist in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and diagnostic tests
• Demonstrated ability to interpret laboratory results and maintain quality control
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (documentation required)
• Residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered

Schedule:

• One day shift and two night shift positions available

Responsibilities:

• Process and analyze specimens across multiple lab areas, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control standards
• Accurately record and report test results in lab information systems
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to communicate findings and contribute to decisions regarding patient care
• Maintain organized documentation and participate in ongoing training
