Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license required
  • Proven experience as a medical technologist with strong generalist skills
  • Solid background in blood bank procedures is essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to laboratory protocols
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities
  • ASCP certification not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex testing in all areas of the clinical laboratory, with a focus on blood bank operations
  • Accurately analyze, record, and report laboratory findings in compliance with quality control standards
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
  • Participate in troubleshooting, quality assurance, and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient safety
