Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
  • No on-call hours required

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pathology Assistant or Pathologist Assistant
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • Current PA (ASCP) certification (must be submitted with application)
  • Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required
  • COVID vaccine series must be completed before starting, unless valid exemption provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent gross dissection and examination of surgical specimens in accordance with established protocols
  • Accurately perform and document procedures using gross room hoods and cryostats for frozen sectioning
  • Complete timely and precise surgical case reports to support pathologic diagnosis
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure reliable clinical results
  • Provide patient-centered care by adhering to quality and safety standards throughout all tasks
  • Maintain a collaborative approach with clinical teams for optimal laboratory operations

  • Requests for time off must be noted with submission; excessive time off is not permitted
