Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
- No on-call hours required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Pathology Assistant or Pathologist Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Current PA (ASCP) certification (must be submitted with application)
- Prior travel experience is a plus, but not required
- COVID vaccine series must be completed before starting, unless valid exemption provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent gross dissection and examination of surgical specimens in accordance with established protocols
- Accurately perform and document procedures using gross room hoods and cryostats for frozen sectioning
- Complete timely and precise surgical case reports to support pathologic diagnosis
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure reliable clinical results
- Provide patient-centered care by adhering to quality and safety standards throughout all tasks
- Maintain a collaborative approach with clinical teams for optimal laboratory operations

- Requests for time off must be noted with submission; excessive time off is not permitted
