Schedule:

  • 13-week assignment
  • Four 10-hour shifts: Fridays through Mondays (8:00 am – 6:30 pm)

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Pathologist Assistant (ASCP required)
  • Proven experience in laboratory settings, with expertise in grossing, specimen dissection, and pathology workflow
  • Attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for precise documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Proficient in using laboratory information systems and standard laboratory equipment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and document gross examinations and dissections of surgical pathology specimens in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure accurate specimen processing, labeling, and triage for diagnostic testing
  • Collaborate closely with pathologists and laboratory teams for effective workflow and safe handling of specimens
  • Maintain meticulous records and reports aligned with regulatory standards
  • Adhere to strict safety and infection control practices throughout all laboratory activities
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and participate in ongoing laboratory improvement projects

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
