A skilled Pathologists’ Assistant is needed for a full-time travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced pathology professional with strong grossing experience and the ability to perform high-complexity testing in a busy laboratory environment.

Assignment Details

• Location: Lexington, KY
• Contract Length: 16 weeks
• Start Date: 8/24
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shift Length: 5x8s
• Call: None
• Nights: None
• Weekends: None
• Autopsy Coverage: Not required
• Local Policy: Travelers living within 100 miles are not accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year of recent Pathologists’ Assistant experience
• PA(ASCP) – ASCP Certified Pathologists’ Assistant (required)
• Prior grossing experience required
• Must be able to perform high-complexity testing
• Epic Beaker experience desired
• Voice Dictation experience desired
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a laboratory environment
• Travel experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome
