Assignment Details

• 14-week travel contract
• Up to $3,700/week
• Start Date: September 7
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Shift Type: 5x8s – Days
• No on-call, nights, weekends, or autopsy coverage

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced ASCP-certified Pathologists' Assistant for a 14-week travel assignment in a high-volume laboratory. The ideal candidate will have strong grossing experience, the ability to perform high-complexity testing, and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality pathology support.

Responsibilities

• Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens.
• Conduct high-complexity laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and document specimens with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety, quality assurance, and regulatory standards.
• Utilize Epic Beaker and voice dictation systems for documentation when applicable.

Requirements

• PA(ASCP) certification required.
• Prior grossing experience required.
• Ability to perform high-complexity testing.
• Experience with Epic Beaker and voice dictation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
