Schedule/Hours:

  • Five 8-hour shifts per week (days)

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or diploma as a Medical Assistant
  • Proven experience supporting OB/GYN or women’s health practices preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard clinical protocols
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Room patients and document vital signs, histories, and chief complaints
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations, routine procedures, and minor office surgeries
  • Support providers and patients through the prenatal, pregnancy, and postpartum care process
  • Manage specimen collection and proper labeling
  • Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations
  • Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
  • Follow up with laboratories, imaging centers, and patients as directed by providers
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic standards
