Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant, ideally within an OB/GYN or women’s health setting
• Proficiency in taking vital signs, administering injections, and supporting patient examinations
• Familiarity with electronic health records systems
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Attention to detail and adaptability in a busy clinic setting
• Valid MA certification (if required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and room patients, gather medical history, and record vital statistics
• Assist providers during examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests
• Administer vaccinations and medications per provider orders
• Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation in EHR systems
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and stock levels
• Support clinic operations, including scheduling, answering phones, and providing patient education
• Ensure all clinical and administrative protocols are followed for optimal patient care
