Schedule:

  • 5x8s Days (Monday through Friday)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified or registered Medical Assistant, or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Hands-on experience supporting women's health, OB/GYN, or clinic settings highly preferred
  • Proficiency with routine patient care tasks: vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and documentation
  • Strong communication abilities when working alongside providers, patients, and families
  • Adept with electronic health records and updating patient charts accurately
  • Current BLS/CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and room patients, ensuring comfort and privacy throughout the visit
  • Collect and record medical histories, vital signs, and assist with examinations and procedures
  • Support providers during exams and minor office procedures within the OB clinic specialty
  • Handle clinical tasks, such as drawing blood, administering injections, and preparing specimens
  • Provide patient education and answer basic questions under provider direction
  • Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies, upholding infection control standards
  • Effectively manage scheduling, paperwork, and follow-up coordination within the practice
