Step into a dynamic clinical setting where your Medical Assistant expertise will have a meaningful impact supporting women's health. In this contract position, you'll contribute directly to the day-to-day operations of a busy OB clinic, assisting providers and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

  • 5x8s day shifts

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification
  • Previous experience in an OB/GYN or women's health environment preferred
  • Strong clinical skills including taking vital signs, performing EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients and healthcare staff
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and patient documentation
  • CPR/BLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients, take and record medical histories, measure vital statistics, and prepare individuals for exams or procedures
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring proper setup and patient comfort
  • Administer medications or immunizations as directed
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation within the clinic’s electronic health record system
  • Monitor inventory and stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies
  • Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe, organized clinical environment
  • Provide patient education and support throughout their visit
  • Coordinate scheduling, follow-up appointments, and referral processes as needed
