Schedule:

  • 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • 40 hours per week
  • 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rooming and preparing patients for examinations and procedures
  • Accurately documenting patient information and vital signs in the electronic health record
  • Assisting providers with diagnostic tests, procedures, and patient education
  • Performing phlebotomy, administering injections, and collecting specimens as needed
  • Ensuring clinical areas remain clean, stocked, and organized in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and supporting optimal patient experiences

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
  • 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Successful completion of all orientation, training, and ongoing competency requirements
  • Active certification in one of the following: CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), or NCMA (NCCT)
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and EMR usage
  • Professional interpersonal and communication skills
