Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time hours aligned with oncology treatment center operations

Key Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Medical Physics, Physics, or related field
  • Certification or eligibility for certification in Medical Physics preferred
  • Experience working alongside Radiation Oncologists in a clinical environment
  • Proficient in radiation safety protocols and operation of therapeutic medical equipment
  • Skilled in treatment planning systems, dosimetry, and quality assurance procedures
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for interdisciplinary teamwork

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and oversee radiation treatment plans in coordination with Radiation Oncologists
  • Calibrate and maintain linear accelerators, brachytherapy, and imaging modalities
  • Conduct daily, monthly, and annual quality assurance checks on all radiation devices
  • Uphold rigorous safety standards for patients and staff
  • Lead or assist in clinical trials, protocol development, and technology integration
  • Educate and support staff on emerging methods and regulatory compliance
