A leading healthcare center is seeking an experienced professional to support its advanced radiation oncology program. This full-time staff opportunity is ideal for an individual with expertise in medical physics and a passion for patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Medical Physics, Physics, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in radiation oncology and dosimetry
  • Certification or eligibility for certification from ABR or a similar medical physics board
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in therapeutic radiology
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists
  • Proficiency with treatment planning systems, linear accelerators, and quality assurance programs
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, calibrate, and maintain radiation treatment equipment to ensure patient safety and accurate dosing
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams in developing individualized treatment plans
  • Perform regular quality assurance checks and participate in compliance activities
  • Support and train staff regarding radiation safety protocols and new technologies
  • Serve as a resource for clinical troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Remain current with best practices and advances in medical physics and oncology care
