Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time hours
- Monday through Friday (standard business hours)
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field
- Board eligibility or certification in Medical Physics (ABR, ABMP, or equivalent)
- Experience working as a Physicist or Medical Physicist within Radiation Oncology
- Strong knowledge of treatment planning systems, quality assurance procedures, and radiation safety protocols
- Effective communication for interdisciplinary collaboration with oncologists, therapists, and dosimetrists
- Familiarity with current regulatory and compliance standards in radiation therapy
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure calibration, quality assurance, and safety checks on all radiation-producing devices and therapy delivery equipment
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists to develop and review individual patient treatment plans
- Oversee and maintain all radiation safety programs and compliance documentation
- Provide clinical support and technical expertise to treatment teams
- Implement and refine quality control procedures for imaging, planning, and delivery systems
- Assist in the development and integration of new technology, protocols, and education for clinical staff
