Medical Technician in Hudsonville, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Shift: 6:30am – 3:00pm

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Technician or MLT – Medical Lab Technician
• Current ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology) credential required
• Previous experience performing diagnostic lab tests in a hospital or clinical setting
• Working knowledge of Meditech is preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a diverse range of medical laboratory tests according to established procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with a focus on accuracy and safety
• Collect, process, and analyze specimens for chemical, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests
• Accurately document test results and report critical findings promptly to healthcare staff
• Support quality assurance by participating in proficiency testing and instrument calibration
• Uphold safety protocols and regulatory standards at all times
