Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist
• Proven experience working as a Medical Technician or in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of laboratory protocols, safety practices, and quality assurance
• Ability to accurately and efficiently perform routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of clinical diagnostic tests on patient specimens, including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to standard protocols
• Accurately record and report test results within required deadlines
• Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines
• Participate in continuing education and training to ensure laboratory practices remain current
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other laboratory staff to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information
