Schedule:

• 6:30 am – 3:00 pm shift

Qualifications:

• Current Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification
• ASCP certification required
• Solid understanding of clinical laboratory procedures and processes
• Experience with Meditech laboratory information systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail with high standards for accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, immunology, and more, ensuring compliance with quality control protocols
• Accurately document and verify laboratory data, maintaining integrity and confidentiality of patient information
• Operate and troubleshoot a range of laboratory analyzers and equipment efficiently
• Collaborate closely with laboratory professionals and healthcare staff to ensure timely delivery of test results
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments, keeping work areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies
• Adhere strictly to safety and infection control guidelines to protect patients and staff
• Assist in training or mentoring of new laboratory personnel as needed
