Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as a Medical Technician, MLT, or Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent preferred)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science or related field
• Previous clinical laboratory experience is highly desirable
• Proficient with laboratory analyzers, instruments, and quality control procedures
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and urinalysis
• Accurately process and analyze patient samples according to established protocols
• Document test results, report critical values promptly, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Maintain equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform required preventive maintenance
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
