Medical Technician in Trinidad, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Proven background in medical laboratory technology or a similar allied health field
• Active certification as a Medical Technician or Medical Technologist
• Thorough understanding of laboratory safety and quality control procedures
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and automated analyzers
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering precise diagnostic results
• Effective communicator in multidisciplinary healthcare settings
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct a range of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids
• Operate and maintain state-of-the-art laboratory instruments
• Record, interpret, and review test findings accurately
• Adhere to established protocols to ensure sample integrity and testing reliability
• Recognize and address abnormal results following clinical guidelines
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Actively participate in internal quality assurance initiatives
• Maintain thorough and organized documentation
