Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, or a related field.
- Current certification (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience as a Medical Lab Technician, Medical Technologist, or similar laboratory role.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and safety protocols.
- Ability to perform high-complexity testing with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out clinical laboratory tests such as hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunology following established protocols.
- Perform equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate test results.
- Accurately record, analyze, and report laboratory data in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain specimen integrity and proper documentation throughout all phases of testing.
- Collaborate with medical staff and providers to address urgent patient care needs.
- Participate in quality assurance and proficiency testing activities for continuous improvement.
- Adhere strictly to all infection control and laboratory safety practices.
