Schedule:

• 6:30am – 3:00pm shift

Qualifications:

• Certification required: ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology)
• Completion of an accredited Medical Lab Technician (MLT) program
• Proven experience as a Medical Technician or Medical Lab Technician
• Familiarity with Meditech laboratory information systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative laboratory team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical laboratory testing according to established procedures and quality standards
• Prepare specimens, operate laboratory equipment, and document results meticulously
• Analyze and report data for hematology, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and immunology
• Adhere to strict protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of lab results
• Maintain proper storage and handling of samples as well as laboratory inventory
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Communicate findings clearly with medical staff, addressing any urgent or abnormal results promptly
