A rewarding telehealth opportunity is available for a Nurse Practitioner to support patients enrolled in a GLP-1 Weight Management Program. This contract-to-hire role is fully remote, offering flexibility for either full-time (40-50 hours) or part-time (25-30 hours) schedules, with shifts starting at 8:30am CST. You will work closely with patients, providing education, evaluation, and medication management to help them achieve their health goals under established clinical protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive virtual consultations, reviewing patient history and eligibility for GLP-1 therapy.
  • Prescribe GLP-1 medications when clinically indicated; adjust treatment plans based on patient response.
  • Offer detailed patient education on protocols, side effects, and medication adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation within EMR, adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards.
  • Recognize complex or high-risk cases and promptly escalate to the Clinical Director.
  • Ensure patients understand emergency warning signs and appropriate actions.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Remote, telehealth platform
  • 1st shift, flexible hours: Full-time (40-50 hours/week) or part-time (25-30 hours/week) based on your preference
  • Start time: 8:30am CST

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (Texas)
  • Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or similar)
  • DEA registration with authority to prescribe
  • Ability to prescribe GLP-1 medications in Texas
  • Experience in telehealth preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in obesity medicine or metabolic health
  • Familiarity with GLP-1 medications and dosing protocols
  • Multistate NP licensure (a plus)
