Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Frisco, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible first shift options: full-time (40-50 hours/week) or part-time (25-30 hours/week) based on candidate preference
• Start time: 8:30am CST

Key Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in good standing (Texas)
• National board certification (FNP, AGNP, or related specialty)
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority
• Ability to prescribe GLP-1 medications in Texas
• Previous telehealth experience preferred
• Experience in obesity medicine or metabolic health (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with GLP-1 medication protocols
• Multistate licensure is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough virtual patient evaluations using a secure telehealth platform for candidates enrolling in the GLP-1 program
• Assess eligibility for therapy, review risk factors, and prescribe GLP-1 medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines
• Provide detailed patient education, discussing medication administration, outcomes, side effects, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation following all applicable regulatory and compliance standards
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Clinical Director as warranted, delivering clear communication on emergency protocols
