Step into a dynamic remote opportunity supporting individuals on their weight management journey through safe, expert telehealth care. As a Nurse Practitioner focusing on GLP-1 weight management, you'll provide knowledgeable, protocol-driven consultations to patients, ensuring excellence in virtual medicine delivery.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Choose from full-time (40–50 hours) or part-time (25–30 hours) shifts
  • Flexible scheduling options based on your preferred workload
  • Start time: 8:30am CST, 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive telehealth assessments, reviewing patient history and intake for eligibility and safety in GLP-1 therapy
  • Exercise clinical judgment to initiate and manage GLP-1 medications, adjusting plans as patient response indicates
  • Deliver thorough patient education on medication administration, dosing schedules, expected outcomes, and side effects to promote safety and treatment adherence
  • Complete accurate, thorough documentation of all encounters within the electronic health record system, maintaining rigorous compliance with HIPAA, state, and federal telehealth guidelines
  • Recognize complex or high-risk situations, escalate cases to the Clinical Director as appropriate, and ensure patients are informed about when to seek urgent care

Preferred Background:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner license (Texas) and board certification (FNP, AGNP, or similar)
  • Valid DEA registration with appropriate prescriptive authority
  • Proven experience in telehealth delivery preferred
  • Background in obesity medicine, metabolic health, or GLP-1 medication management is a plus
  • Multistate licensure is advantageous
