Advance your nurse practitioner career by providing expert telehealth care for a leading GLP-1 Weight Management Program. This contract-to-hire role focuses on delivering protocol-driven, virtual consultations and medication management—allowing you to guide patients’ wellness journeys from a remote setting.

Schedule options:

  • 13-week contract-to-hire position, available ASAP
  • 1st shift, with start time at 8:30am CST
  • Flexible hours: Choose full-time (40–50 hours/week) or part-time (25–30 hours/week), based on your preference

Key qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License (Texas)
  • Board certification as FNP, AGNP, or related specialization
  • Valid DEA registration with prescriptive authority
  • Eligibility to prescribe GLP-1 medications in Texas
  • Previous telehealth experience is a plus
  • Preferred: Experience in obesity medicine, metabolic health, or managing GLP-1 therapies
  • Multistate licensure is highly desirable

Core responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual patient evaluations, reviewing histories and assessing eligibility for GLP-1 therapy
  • Prescribe GLP-1 medications, tailoring plans to individual responses and clinical guidelines
  • Offer education on medication regimens, administration, outcomes, and potential side effects
  • Ensure detailed, compliant documentation in the electronic health record system, abiding by HIPAA and state/federal telehealth standards
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to clinical leadership, providing guidance on when patients should seek urgent care
