Make an impact delivering high-quality virtual care with a leading telehealth program dedicated to GLP-1 weight management. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide remote consultations, evaluate patients for therapy eligibility, prescribe medications, and ensure ongoing patient safety—all within a protocol-driven practice model.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible shifts: Full-time (40-50 hours) or part-time (25-30 hours) available
  • 1st shift with an 8:30am CST start time
  • ASAP start, with an initial 13-week contract and opportunity for contract-to-hire transition

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct telehealth consultations to review patient medical history, document intake, and assess suitability for GLP-1 therapy
  • Leverage clinical judgment to prescribe GLP-1 medications, adjusting plans as needed to optimize outcomes
  • Provide patient education on medication administration, dosing schedules, side effect management, and safety protocols
  • Thoroughly document encounters in the electronic health record, upholding HIPAA and all regulatory standards
  • Escalate high-risk or complex cases and advise patients on when to seek immediate care

Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
  • Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or similar
  • Valid DEA registration with prescriptive authority in Texas for GLP-1 medications
  • Telehealth or virtual care experience (preferred)
  • Background in obesity medicine, metabolic health, or GLP-1 protocols (preferred)
  • Multistate licensure is a plus
