Seeking a skilled professional with expertise as a Certified First Assist or First Assist Tech to provide critical intraoperative support and work closely with surgeons, nurses, and medical staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including tissue handling, exposure, suturing, and maintaining clear surgical fields.
  • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment necessary for specific procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of operating teams and respond to evolving surgical requirements.
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and operating room protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with perioperative team members for seamless patient care transitions.
  • Participate actively in pre-operative planning and post-operative patient assessment as needed.
  • Uphold documentation standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in surgical practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as a First Assist (CFA) or completion of an accredited First Assist Tech program required.
  • Active and unencumbered nursing license (if applicable).
  • Demonstrated recent experience as a First Assist or First Assist Tech in a surgical setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and best practices in patient safety.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

$1,984 - $2,099/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
