Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Certified First Assist (CFA) or First Assist Tech
• Active nursing license or First Assist Tech certification, as appropriate
• Demonstrated experience providing intraoperative patient care and assisting surgeons
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instrumentation, and surgical procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• BLS or ACLS certification, as required by role
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced surgical settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to surgeons and surgical teams during operative procedures
• Ensure aseptic and safe environments by maintaining sterile fields and adhering to established protocols
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping
• Efficiently pass instruments, retract tissue, control bleeding, and perform specialized tasks as directed
• Monitor and respond to patient needs throughout procedures
• Accurately document care and procedural details
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient safety and positive outcomes

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
