Qualifications:

• Valid certification as Certified First Assist, CVOR Tech, or First Assist Tech
• Current, unencumbered nursing or allied health license in applicable specialty
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in related operating room/surgical setting
• BLS/ACLS certification(s) as required by specialty
• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
• Dedication to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and OR teams during cardiovascular and related surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Anticipate surgeon’s needs and facilitate efficient case flow
• Handle surgical instruments, equipment, and specimens accurately
• Support postoperative patient care and documentation
