COVR Operating Room Technician (CVOR) in Arvada, CO

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating field for cardiovascular surgeries
• Assist surgeons and nurses with instrumentation, equipment, and supplies before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor and manage complex surgical equipment, ensuring proper functioning throughout operations
• Maintain accurate inventory of surgical materials and ensure timely availability
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and safety standards
• Participate in patient transport, positioning, and pre/post-operative care as needed
• Document relevant information related to surgeries and instrumentation

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification as a CVOR Technician or Surgical Technologist with cardiovascular experience
• Proven experience in a CVOR setting or assisting with cardiovascular surgeries
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
• Flexibility to adapt to changing cases and operating room demands
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and best practices
• CPR certification (required); Advanced certifications preferred
