As a valued member of this collaborative surgical services unit, you'll have the opportunity to broaden your clinical acumen with frequent neuro, transplant, and orthopedic/spine procedures. Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible day and evening shifts as needed
  • Call required for enhanced learning and potential overtime

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
  • NBSTA and DORA certifications (must be obtained before submission)
  • Ortho/joint surgical experience required
  • Preferred: Level I or trauma center experience, prior Meditech EMR use

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with neuro, transplant, and orthopedic/spine procedures
  • Demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and accountability
  • Consistently deliver safe, efficient care in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RN, ST, PCTs, ATs, and trauma response
  • Maintain documentation in Meditech EMR
