Qualifications:

• Valid, unencumbered state license (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience working as a CVOR Tech in a nursing or hospital environment
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures, instrumentation, and sterile technique
• BLS and/or ACLS certification preferred
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Adaptable to various hospital systems and team dynamics

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating room and sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during cardiovascular operations
• Scrub, count, and manage surgical instruments and supplies
• Ensure the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Support pre- and post-operative care, following all hospital policies
